One of FunkJoint's first truly original compositions as a band and one of the tunes that helped us define our original sound and musical direction. Hammered by Thunderball is very much a jazz fusion exploration in two parts: the ethereal and meandering first half, with countervailing melodies between bass and trumpet; and the driving, determined second half, with near-jungle drums and bass supporting a hypnotic and high-flying guitar melody. Please enjoy this instrumental musical journey as much as we enjoyed making it!
