'Ten' codes were developed for radio communication in the 1930's by Charles Hopper to help relay common information and responses. Radios of the day had limited speech times, so the codes helped a lot and eventually even became culturally common place with movies like 'Cannonball Run'. 'Ten-Four' may be the most well known: an acknowledgement of message received or to say things are okay.

'10/4' is also an uncommon time signature! Counting ten quarter notes in a bar is something you can do with your friends (if you want to), and it's exactly what FunkJoint did when we made this song. But of course, we gave it a twist, so enjoy with some lime.

With those two things in mind, please enjoy Ten Four, a song that dabbles in odd time (RIP Dave Brubeck) and that says, we're doing ok...
